EEW Eco Energy World (‘EEW’), founded by entrepreneur Svante Kumlin, is an independent global pure-play renewable energy projects developer, historically focusing on utility-scale solar photovoltaic (‘PV’) projects, having expanded recently to solar plus battery energy storage systems (‘BESS’) projects and currently also targeting servicing the green hydrogen industry. The Role

At EEW we are seeking for a Accountant to join our dynamic team in Monaco. As our accountant you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for bookkeeping, financial analysis and VAT Tax returns. You will also assist the team with audits and administrative tasks. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for bookkeeping and maintaining accounts of the Group’s activities.
  • Recording financial transactions and ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping in accounting system, maintaining company ledgers and supporting documentation.
  • Preparing various financial analyses and forecasts to management.
  • Managing payments and handling of invoices.
  • Completing VAT, tax returns and other statutory filings and ensuring compliance with regulation in respective jurisdictions.
  • Preparing information for auditors.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks.
Essential Requirements
  • 2 to 3 years work experience from accounting firm and/or accounting manager role with several corporates.
  • Degree in accounting & finance and/or relevant on the job training and certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, best practices and procedures.
  • Familiar with working with multi jurisdiction corporate structures.
  • At least 2 years experience in Account Consolidation.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (we are using Xero).
  • Fluency in English.
  • Good numerical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a problem solving mindset and to deliver according to deadlines.
